So this really should be my motto when it comes to blogging....SLACKER! I have made it a goal to get better, sometimes I just think my life will bore everyone to tears! WELL...in light of this momentous occassion of me actually posting something I will recap important events of the past few weeks....
1. My sister had her 12th birthday. She is officially in Young Womens and I envy her. Oh how I miss fun and often endless chorus' of "ride that pony" and "just standing" to say the YW theme. The R.S. has it's perks though....mostly just the climate change (I swear that room reaches sauna temperatures) and the wonderful 'happy moments' time has extended to 'good news minutes.'
She is a lovely poser
For her special day we took a fantastic trip to the University Mall and spent our day shopping. Isn't fun to almost be a teenager? *I'm sure my parents beg to differ*
This is her natural look, such a charm
She also had a "princess" birthday party which was....noisy. It was kinda funny that she would choose the theme to be princess because VanVan isn't really into the froofy girly stuff, but it was fun to primp her up anyway.

2. I had my interview....AHHHHH!!!! As many of you know I am working my way into an internship with Disney. I have been biting my nails off hoping to get in. Well I had my FINAL interview over the phone on Oct. 30 so I hope things went alright! I won't hear for 4-6 weeks, YIKES! I think the interview went well, I refrained from making any dumb jokes or answering the yes or no questions wrong (have you been convicted in the past 5 years? umm...yes?? wait convicted of wha?) So cross your fingers for me! If I do get in I will be moving to Florida in the beginning of January and stay at least until the end of May. I'm really excited about this, mostly because I get to play with Mickey all day and I LOVE that happy-magical feeling of Disney :)
3. My birthday...I'm TWENTY! I should just start heading for the grave now, I'm just so old! My birthday was wonderful, I didn't have to work or go to school, just hang out with some friends and have a relaxing day. I loved the gifts I got, thanks guys!
4. HALLOWEEN! I LOVE this holiday! I love dressing up and getting excited to go and trick or treat! I have been TONS of things over the years; some of my favorites have been Minnie Mouse, Pebbles from the Flintstones, Jasmine, and this year I went as a classic zombie. Natalie and I had a splendid day perusing around stores and found a BRILLIANT get-up for her at 'Dindistries' (When my brother was younger her couldn't say Deseret Industries so he called it dindistries and it stuck). She found this foam adult-Ariel costume from the little Mermaid. We both just about had some heart palpitations when she tried it on we were laughing so hard. She bought this wicked-awesome costume and just so happened to have a red wig that went well. We took a trip to walmarto to find some face paint for me and probably terrified the poor woman in the bathroom when I put it on. I scared many children that night, but it's a good thing I had Ariel with me or I would have scared the parents too.
Nat and I went to the movie Momma Mia while we waited for a party we were going to to start. Now I loved this film, the singing was awesome (except for Pierce Brosnan), the dancing was great (except for Pierce Brosnan), and over all it was an A+ show (except for Pierce Brosnan). What really ruined it for me the second time around was surprisingly not Pierce, it was this lady in the isle next to us who sang along to EVERY ABBA SONG IN THE MOVIE! I love Abba, very much, but just because you're a theater major doesn't mean you should re-enact the whole movie! Oi!
After the show we were a little hungry so we went to 'get sconed' at sconecutters. I don't know who is in charge of their marketing but who would ever think of "let's go get sconed" as a slogan?? Seriously?? Anywho, we went there and as soon as we walked in we had the little children staring at us the entire time. I wonder what it would have been like as a child to see a zombie with frightening make-up and hair with Ariel out of the sea eating some french fries? I really wanted just to go up to the kids and look them in the eyes and just say "boo" but that would have made them cry. So I refrained. Overall it was a great night!

Bret went as Michael Phelps, his idol. And yes, Bob always has this look on his face.
Vanessa went as a fairy....this was a costume of mine that she borrowed that worked out well. Her hair took FOREVER!! The makeup looked awesome too.
Well that's about it for now. School and work is the bane of my existence for the time being, so that's what I get to look forward too. I hope everyone is doing well...I will try to start blogging a bit more. I gotta get this page in shape for my *hopeful* move to Florida. Wish me luck!!
